 {LOVE}

This one is tall ...
...kind of narrow

The dimensions are: 54 1/2" TALL, 21" WIDE, 15"DEEP, The top of the dresser is a little wider and deeper for decoration. It measures 16" Deep and 22 1/2" Wide.

**I refinished this in a bright white**

................

 She's Got ~CURVES~

THE PROCESS:

I refinished this in a bright white. It hasn't been glazed. It has a gloss top coat. All of the hardware was changed to a bright chrome color. It is in great condition. Fully refinished with a shabby chic effect. Would be darling in a little girl's room. I would put this into my room too.

WhiTE
ShABby ChIC DrEsSEr
Just listed & it's going to go quick!!!
XOXO
BEFORE:
Not SO GREAT, Right?

Well, after some putty, sanding, putty, sanding, and finally primer,
I coated it with a bright white paint.  Then I distressed, and glazed with the lightest shade I can mix.  {I wanted it to have a Bright/Clean/Fresh finish} & it does.
BEFORE putting the knobs on, I sprayed it with a High-gloss poly finish.
***
I have to say, it turned out perfect!
***
~{A} quick pic of it before I sanded the edges to add a "DiStReSSed" Look~

NOW, for the funnest part.  Distressing.
I love how it brings out all the unique corners and edges!
Without this step in refinishing furniture, furniture losses it's character!  -BORING-
I hate boring things-don't you?

AFTER:
SHABBY CHIC DRESSER
So stinking cute!!!

** I love the mis-matched drawer pulls. **

They add so much to the piece. They are unexpected and really unique.

The dresser has a lot of storage with 5 drawers.
The dimensions of the piece are:

2"10" W X 18" D X 3'10" T

I can see it in a bedroom with a chandelier and with ruffles on the bedding. I love the pop of purple inside the drawers. They'll make you smile every time you pull the drawers open.

The dresser is really sturdy and made by Broyhill.
***This would be so cute in a little girl's room or young woman's space***

The knobs are my favorite.
The piece also has a ton of edges for fun dimension in a room.

The piece is going to last through the years because the colors are neutral.
You can mix the Black and white with everything.

I'm OFF to work on Bedrooms, and Chores.
Happy DAYS!!!

ThE ReFIniSiNG PrOCesS.....
I lightly sanded the piece, then sprayed it with a primer/paint in bright white.  After it cured, I lightly distressed the piece with sandpaper and a scraper.  I went back later and applied more paint here-n-there to add MORE character.  Then scraping and sanding again. After this step, I finished it off in a HIGH GLOSS finish.
PERFECTION!
I glaze so many of my pieces~~
~~it's nice to have a crisp white piece in my shop now and then.

Loving how this turned out.  HMMM, maybe I should have another baby?  Just kidding.  It's going to look so nice in {someone else's} nursery.
Clean, Pure, White.

I think I've inspired myself to paint something else the same way....

{Glass} ToP ENd TaBLe

This {LiTtLE NuMBeR} is FAB
Sold!

 {C}ute accent table for any room!!!

~~~Creamy White~~~
22" Deep X 27" Wide X 20" High
The finish is a chocolate glaze with a semi-gloss clear finish.  I used a Vasoline Technique to take off most of the white before distressing it more.  I wanted an extra layer of aging added, so, after scrapping off some of the white, I repainted it again with a watered down coat.  I love how some of the thin white shows here-and-there.  VeRy COol EfFEct - Don'tcha think?
BEFORE:
A {LiTtLE} Progress...
I found that some of the manufacturing joints were bug'in me---SO I had to putty some more before going any further.
I like my stuff perfect (even if the "perfect" is distressed to look imperfect, does that make sense?)
Lov'in Glass Tops!!!
 I have glass on almost everything that is used often in our home.  If it isn't part of the design, I have a piece cut and added to the top.
I am the person who leaves a drink on a wood top and walks away....
then, returns to a liquid ring.
REMEMBER this (CLICK IT TO GO TO THE POSTING) {Little} Red TaBLE
It now has a piece of glass added to it BECAUSE, I caused a liquid ring.
 Yes, I got to refinish it again.
The glass I bought has a beveled edge and is tinted a dark brown color.
I {HEART} the tinted piece of glass--it makes the chocolate stain appear almost black-YET I can still see the checkered pattern in the top.
This is my home, I kept the piece instead of selling it!!!  My hubby is like: "Ang, you need to sell stuff too."  HA, Ha, ha.....
I {HeARt} all of my readers!
XOXO
